Getting Here

Graduations are held in Joshua Tree National Park, CA, which is approximately a 40-minute drive from Palm Springs International Airport in Palm Springs, CA. You can drive to Joshua Tree National Park or fly into Palm Springs and rent a car for further transportation.

If you plan to attend the Parent Workshop, Passages Ceremony, and Family Reunification meeting, it is ideal to arrive on Tuesday evening to spend the night in Palm Springs, and depart anytime on Thursday.

What to Bring

Odyssey’s Passages Ceremonies and Family Climb are held outdoors in Joshua Tree National Park. Parents are encouraged to bring casual, comfortable clothing and footwear, as well as a variety of warm layers and a raincoat. Physical activity will be somewhat rigorous, but you should come prepared to spend a full day plus one night outside in high desert conditions. Temperatures typically range from 45-75° F throughout Odyssey’s operating season.
