Odyssey Southwest's Basecamp is located in Joshua Tree, CA, overlooking the National Park boundary. Both hotels listed below are located nearby and are within a short drive of Odyssey’s base, as well as a number of shops, cafes, restaurants, and basic amenities. Campgrounds
- Take Exit CA-62 W/TWENTYNINE PALMS HWY toward Twentynine Palms and Yucca Valley.
- Continue on CA-62 W through Yucca Valley and into Joshua Tree.
- Turn RIGHT at PARK BLVD.
- Continue on QUAIL SPRINGS RD / PARK BLVD.
- Stop to register at park entrance; continue straight on PARK BLVD.
- Turn RIGHT at entrance to Ryan Mountain Campground or Sheep Pass Campground.

- Continue on MOUNT SHASTA AVE. .75 miles to top of hill.
- Basecamp is third to last house on right.
