Getting Here

Graduations are held near Odyssey’s offices in Bellingham, WA, which is approximately a 2-hour drive from SeaTac Airport in Seattle, WA. You can drive to Bellingham or fly into Seattle and rent a car for further transportation.

If you plan to attend the Parent Workshop, Passages Ceremony, and Family Reunification meeting, it is ideal to arrive on Wednesday morning, spend two nights in Bellingham, and depart anytime on Friday. It is possible to attend all the graduation sessions and reduce your stay to one night if you prefer to catch a red-eye on Thursday night.

What to Bring

Odyssey’s Parent Workshops and Passages Ceremonies are held outdoors in local parks and marinas. Parents are encouraged to bring casual, comfortable clothing and footwear, as well as a variety of warm layers and a raincoat. Physical activity will not be rigorous, but you should come prepared to spend several hours outside in moderate coastal conditions. Temperatures typically from 45-75° F throughout Odyssey’s operating season.
