Getting Here

If you will be flying to graduation, you should fly into SeaTac Airport in Seattle, WA. Odysseys offices are located in Bellingham, WA, and are approximately a 2-hour drive from Seattle. This means you will need to rent a car and schedule your flight to arrive at least 2 hours prior to your first scheduled graduation session. You will also need to spend at least one night in Bellingham.
If you will be driving to graduation, you will have more flexibility and can arrive in Bellingham any time prior to your first scheduled graduation session. Also, depending on where you live, you may or may not need to spend a night in Bellingham.

You should arrange your flights to depart at least 5 hours after the completion of your final graduation event. This allows you 2 hours for the return drive to Seattle, 30 minutes for rental car return, and 2.5 hours for check-in.

What to Bring

Odyssey’s Parent Workshops and Passages Ceremonies are held outdoors in local parks and marinas. Parents are encouraged to bring casual, comfortable clothing and footwear, as well as a variety of warm layers and a raincoat. Average temperatures range from 45-75° F in Bellingham throughout Odyssey’s operating season, although you should come prepared for cool or inclement weather conditions.
