Parent Coaching is an excellent way to build effective parenting strategies and expand the tools you have to manage the dynamic situations encountered in a family. It’s often said that the quality of your life depends on the quality of your relationships. This saying couldn’t be more true when it comes to family. By evaluating your own psychology around parenting, you will learn and develop new strategies that specific to your unique family circumstances. At Odyssey, we have been studying the art and science of effective parenting for over 10 years, and are excited to share what we have learned to help you master the sometimes difficult and confusing job of being a parent.

Odyssey’s Parent Coaching model is designed to be an 8–12 week process, and requires a 1-month minimum commitment. Each week, you will talk with your Parent Coach for 50 minutes over the phone or video Skype at a pre-scheduled day and time. During each coaching session, you will debrief both successes and areas of improvement from the previous week, and design a plan for the week ahead. It is also common for your Parent Coach to be involved and provide support by text and email between sessions. The Parent Coaching process is fluid and will be custom-designed to help you develop strategies to achieve your family and relationship goals.

Communication Plan

Phone Calls: Parent Coaching consists of weekly phone calls of 1 hour.
E-mail:  Parents are encouraged to send regular e-mail updates to their Parent Coach to help make the weekly phone calls as effective as possible.
Texting: Texting is an innovative way we are adding to the Parent Coaching service. Texting can be valuable when you are “in the moment” utilizing your new strategies and need a little extra help.

Pricing

Parent Coaching is billed on a monthly basis at a rate of $495 per month. There is a 1-month minimum commitment.
