Program Coordinators serve one of the most important functions of the Odyssey Treatment Team—ensuring that courses are safe and run smoothly. Odyssey’s Coordinator department is a close nit team of competent individuals who care deeply about providing the best field experience possible for your child.

CHARLEY JONES — Field Manager
Charley Jones is a Washington State native and has worked with adolescents for the past eight years in a variety of outdoor educational and therapeutic settings, including four seasons with the Odyssey Wilderness Programs. He enjoys sharing his love of life and the outdoors with youth and others, exploring and showing them the amazing potential for positive growth that everyone holds. Charley is an organized problem solver, involving his teams in finding solutions to common problems and encouraging each staff member and student to discover their own strengths, helping them to become leaders themselves. Charley graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts in Environmental Education from Western Washington University and is an avid sailor, also enjoying traveling, hiking, camping, and reading in his off time. |

CHRISTIAN THOR — Logistics Manager
Christian Thor brings with him strong logistical and organizational skills from over twelve years as an Emergency Department RN. He enjoys the details and challenges of outfitting and supporting Odyssey students and field staff 24/7. In his free time, Christian is an AMGA SPI rock climbing guide, Wilderness EMT, avid sailor and mountaineer. Christian lives part time in Bellingham, WA and Joshua Tree, CA to support Odyssey Wilderness Programs NW and SW. |

EARL BROCKMAN — Academics Director
After serving as principal and teacher for over forty years, Earl is inspired by the challenge of integrating the highest standards of education with Odyssey's therapeutic curriculum to create a compelling learning environment for students. In addition to his service in multiple schools, Earl has also served on a variety of local and Northwest educational councils and boards and has been an "Invited Observer" to the Washington State Board of Education. Having received many awards throughout his teaching career, including the Don Keele Excellence in Education Award, the Zapara Award of Recognition for Excellence in Teaching, and the Who's Who Among American Teachers, Earl is an honored member of the educational community. As a result of this extensive experience, Earl is able to help Odyssey students master subject content and arouse or regain their joy of learning by using a variety of innovative teaching techniques. |
