The Odyssey Leadership Program is a 15-day program available to alumni. Because Odyssey graduates know best what it takes to succeed at Odyssey, returning “Odyssey Leaders” can be a powerful source of support and guidance to their peers. Accepted Leaders practice advanced expeditionary and leadership skills while furthering the effectiveness of their new student community.
To be eligible for the Leadership Program, students must demonstrate personal initiative to participate in the program and complete a written interview included in the Leadership Program Application.
Available Dates
Students may join a hiking, longboat sailing, or rock climbing course in the NW or SW program, depending on the season and availability. Space is limited to one Odyssey Leader per session; it is important to register as soon as possible to hold a space in your preferred Leadership Program course date.
Tuition
The Leadership program tuition is $2,250 ($150 per day). Tuition includes the student’s food, lodging, course equipment, and weekly individual and group counseling.
Preparation
Odyssey Leaders are responsible for supplying appropriate personal clothing and equipment for the respective activities and conditions of their expedition. Please refer to the Suggested Clothing and Equipment List included in the Leadership Application for complete packing instructions.
Travel Arrangements
Odyssey Leaders are responsible for their transportation to and from the course location on the first and last day of their program. Arrival and departure details will be provided after the student's Leadership Program dates and location are confirmed.

- Submit the Leadership Program Application.
- The Odyssey Treatment Team will review the application and an Admissions Counselor will contact you within 1 week to provide an approval response.
- Submit program tuition and OWP Leadership Program Enrollment Agreement to confirm enrollment.
